Once a simple uncivilized region with an ineffective government, this nation suddenly became a new power as its King Taros instituted new policies at the behest of the Renazent Corporation. Benefiting from a technological boon, it soon became consumed by its own sudden development, natural ecosystems engulfed by the spreading of civilization.

During the Etherium Wars, Malaga fell to the might of the abomination, Ziasetht, and was reduced to nothing in a mere few nights. Its technologically controlled climate system failed and the civilization was swallowed by the arctic wastelands upon which it was built. The survivors retreated beneath the surface and now live in a massive underground citadel, both protected from the harsh outside world and imprisoned by the paranoia of King Taros.
